Moray Firth Training's Manual Handling Programme is designed to assist companies reduce the risk of injuries to staff as required by the Manual Handling Regulations 1992 and subsequent guidance revision 1998


MANUAL HANDLING AND LIFTING LOADS
(KINETIC TECHNIQUES
)

Description:

Designed to give employees an understanding of the principles of safe handling and lifting techniques. The programme is achieved by explanation, discussion, video, demonstration and practical exercises.

Designed for all staff as everyone carries out manual handling but particularly those at risk from specific tasks.


Duration:

1/2 or 1 day (depending on Customers requirements)
am/pm or 9 am - 4 pm

One day course particularily suited to Supervisors

On completion of the course the candidate will...
Have knowledge of the Manual Handling Regulations
 
Be aware of Employer and Employee Responsibilities
 
Be able to understand Risk Assessment
 
Understand Human Kinetics
 
Be able to use Kinetic Handling Techniques
 
Be able to carry out Manual Handling safely

Qualification:

Successful completion will result in a
certificate of training
