FIRST AID AT WORK

First Aid Training has been a legal responsibility for ALL employers since the introduction of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, however, the 1997 Approved Code of Practice reinforces the requirement for employers to carry out risk assessments to ensure they comply with these regulations and provide sufficient cover.

Employers MUST ensure at least an Appointed Person is available at ALL TIMES

It is strongly advised in the Regulations that the appointed person receive regular emergency First Aid Training (at least every 3 years).

Since 1981 Moray Firth Training has trained over 8000 people throughout Scotland in First Aid at Work

Courses are approved under the Health and Safety (First Aid Regulations) 1981.

The courses are normally held in our Training Centre in Inverness, however, "in company" courses can be arranged in any location throughout Scotland if required.
