Moray Firth Training has trained over  16,500 people in First Aid in the Highlands of Scotland  which makes us the biggest trainer of First Aid at Work in the North.

First Aid Training has been a legal responsibility for ALL employers since the introduction of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, however, following the 2009 review of the regulations the requirement is for employers to carry out risk assessments to see if they require either a Full First Aider (3 Day FAW) an Emergency First Aider ( 1 Day EFAW) or for schools and nurseries a Paediatric first aid certificate to ensure they comply with these regulations.

Employers MUST ensure at least an "Appointed Person" is available at ALL TIMES

It is strongly advised in the Regulations that the appointed person receive regular emergency First Aid Training (at least every 3 years).

The one day Emergency First Aider could also be the Appointed Person

Courses are approved under the Health and Safety (First Aid Regulations) 1981.

The courses are normally held in our Training Centre in Inverness, however, "in company" courses can be arranged in any location throughout Scotland if required.
